The coffee is the developer, vinegar or lemon juice as the stop, and apparently Sodium thiosulphate as fixer. I guess this is in response to photographers using such harsh chemicals in the darkroom, here are some reasons behind it:

BEGINNERS: Lucenta ™ Paper Can Be Fixed For 5 Minutes In Sodium Thiosulphate: 10 Grams Dissolved In 100 Ml Of Cold Water. This Solution Is Practically Harmless, It Will Not Attack Skin Or Hurt Environment. Or Use Commercial Photo Fixer Solutions. How To Make The Thiosulphate See Below.
Here is what you need:
1. Coffee 2. Alkali To Neutralize Coffee Acidity 3. Sodium Thiosulphate To Fix The Paper 4. Lucenta Transfer Paper 5. Black And White Silver Based Or Digital Negative You Can Make This In The Computer. This Can Be Used Over And Over Again. 6. Two Glass Plates To Press Neg And Photo Paper Together For Exposure 7. Minute Timer 8-9. 100w Tungsten Lamp
